About this Online Implementation
The present access system was designed and first implemented at the University of Michigan by Digital Library Production Service (DLPS).
For information about that implementation, see http://www.umdl.umich.edu/moa/moa_implement.html.
Those involved in the Cornell University Library implementation include:
- Peter Hoyt, Library Systems, designed the processing routines that automated the generation of OCR from TIFF page images.
- George Kozak, Library Systems, provides ongoing systems support for the MoA hardware.
- David Ruddy, Digital Library and Information Technologies, was responsible for encoding the MoA bibliographic metadata and OCRed text, installing the DLPS middleware at Cornell, and for adjusting and modifying that middleware as needed for the Cornell data and environment.
- Noni Korf Vidal and David Jones, Cornell Institute for Digital Collections, created the page banner images used in the Cornell implementation.
